Anyone, Anywhere - Call Calendars Committee

We have been plugging away at making quality contacts to representatives, as constituent contacts carry the most weight.  If our bills are not set on the calendar within the next week, the bills will die in committee.  We need to move on to quantity.

Regardless of where you live, please call the Calendars Committee from 10-2 Saturday and all day Monday.  Ask to speak to the Chief of Staff if he or she is available, but if not, speak to whomever takes the call.  Ask if they support House Bills 741 & 1706.  Ask them to show their support by setting HBs 741 and 1706 on the calendar immediately.  Calls can be made very quickly - all of them could probably be made in 30 minutes, but if you only have 5 minutes, make three or four calls, starting at the top (unless one of the members is your rep.)

If calls are just not going to happen for you or you can call and email, please scroll down to the previous post for guidelines and sample emails and contact the members that way.  You can also personalize and use a sample email as a sort of script if you like when making phone calls.
